CHILDRENS ACTIVITIES

Manchester Leisure

Manchester Leisure provides a range of sporting and physical activity opportunities to the children of Manchester.  Activities are available throughout all of Manchester, on an ongoing basis and during school holidays.  Most activities are free, but some ask a very small fee to be paid.

Disability Football

Free football sessions for young people with disabilities aged between 8 and 14years old.

Monday 28th July, 2008
10am - 1pm, Platt Lane Training Complex

Tuesday 19th August, 2008
10am – 1pm, Tameside Stadium, Ashton Under Lyne

Tuesday 26th August, 2008
10am – 1pm, Sporting Edge Community Sports Centre, Openshaw

Please wear appropriate clothing including shin pads and trainers.  Make sure you bring plenty of drinks, a packed lunch and snacks.

You must pre register for the course and places will be decided on a first come first serve basis.

Please note the sessions are not suitable for wheel chair users or visually impaired players.

Summer Breakout

The sessions are for ALL Manchester young people. They are fun active sessions run by Manchester Leisure's fully qualified coaches. The sessions offer local young people the opportunities to participate within a fun and safe environment. Each Community Officer is responsible for the activities taking place within their area, all their details are listed in the booklet.

MCFC Logo Soccer Schools

CITC team of FA qualified coaches run a variety of football programmes in schools and community groups. These include holiday course, after school sessions, football sessions for girls and disabled football programmes.

After School Soccer Centres

CITC’s After School Soccer Centres re-launch on Monday January 7th with six different courses at five venues.

Each session costs just £2 with the opportunity to earn two free tickets to a MCFC home game at the City of Manchester Stadium if you attend for the full five weeks.
